What is veterinary rehabilitation?

Also referred to as animal physio, veterinary rehabilitation not only helps you pet recover from surgery but also keeps older pets mobile for longer, speeds up recovery from soft tissues injuries (muscle strains, ligament and tendon damage), and nerve/spinal injures. It can also help prevent injury in working and athletic dogs.

It includes using manual therapy, modalities (such as ESTIM and acupuncture) and exercises to help reduce inflammation and tension, strengthen areas of weakness and reprogram the nervous system to use a limb correctly.

What we offer

Full assessment - the ideal first step if your pet has a known injury, is slowing down with age, or if they just don’t seem to be moving normally

Veterinary acupuncture - relieves tight muscles, provides pain relief and promotes circulation which can improve healing

Massage and manipulations - improving joint mobility and releasing muscle tension
