Join us in sunny Nelson for an immersive, full-day workshop designed to sharpen your clinical approach to canine lameness and give you practical tools you can take straight back into practice.

We’ll begin with a comprehensive, clinically relevant anatomy review, before working through the assessment and management of common causes of canine lameness.

What you’ll learn

  • A systematic approach to clinical lameness assessment

  • Recognising and investigating common causes of lameness

  • Practical treatment and management strategies

  • Exercise prescription and management

  • Rehabilitation exercises and progression

  • Creating effective, achievable home exercise plans

  • Practical assessment and treatment techniques that can be incorporated into first-opinion practice

A hands-on learning experience

This is not simply a day of lectures. The workshop combines focused teaching with multiple practical sessions using live dogs, giving you the opportunity to develop and apply your skills in a supportive, interactive environment.

With a small-group format, there will be plenty of opportunity for hands-on learning, discussion and individual questions.

Therapaw Veterinary Rehabilitation is owned and operated by Dr Ruby Sibley BVetMed, CCRT.

Ruby graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009 and the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2024. She is passionate about veterinary rehabilitation and is committed to helping expand the knowledge, practical skills and confidence of companion animal veterinary professionals.
